Maryknoll Lay Missioners Celebrates 40 Years with Ossining Event

Maryknoll Lay Missioners (MKLM) is hosting an event to celebrate its 40th Anniversary and honor its more than 700 members who have contributed to four decades of humanitarian outreach. Saturday evening, Aug. 8th from 7-9:00pm at the Maryknoll Mission Center, we will be joined by Ossining Mayor Gearity and Supervisor Donnelly, who will show their support for Maryknoll Lay Missioners’ milestone anniversary. Maryknoll Lay Missioner, Susan Nagele, MD is keynote speaker for the event and will be joined by additional speakers MKLM Executive Director Sam Stanton and Russ Brine, a 15-year Maryknoll Lay Missioner.

The event offers attendees a unique view of the stories of mission, insights on what motivates our missioners and perspective on MKLM’s vision for the future of overseas Catholic mission. The organization recently announced its 40th Anniversary with this nationally distributed press release, which provides more detail on the type of aid Maryknoll Lay Missioners offers to thousands in need around the world.
