Faith Formation and Pastoral Ministry

Our lay missioners walk and live with those they serve. By their presence, they offer moments of solidarity and connection to those they accompany. Most of the individuals our missioners work with, especially in this ministry, are shunned by society and have no access to services. This typically includes the destitute elderly, the sick and dying, ethnic minorities, those with disabilities, the incarcerated and those without friends or family.

Many programs our lay missioners sustain are run in conjunction with the local archdioceses and parishes. Examples include catechism programs in Kenya and Cambodia, Christian Base Communities in El Salvador and programs for street youth and orphans in Kenya and Tanzania.
