Faith Formation and Pastoral Care

Many of our missioners work in conjunction with parishes and other local organizations to care holistically for the needs of the communities where we live and work. Our missioners accompany people in their joys and struggles and support many projects that address the basic needs of especially vulnerable populations. As a Catholic community, we recognize the importance of attending not only to people’s physical needs, but also of offering resources that nourish their faith and spiritual development.

Partnerships with the Local Church Community

Many of our lay missioners work in partnership with a local archdiocese, parish, or Christian base community, caring holistically for the needs of the community as a whole.

Accompaniment of vulnerable populations

Our lay missioners work in ministries of presence and accompaniment with vulnerable population such as the elderly, the sick and dying, ethnic minorities, orphans, those with disabilities, the incarcerated, and those without friends or family.

Faith Formation and Religious Education

Through religious education and faith formation, and even a House of Prayer that offers a contemplative space for local people, lay missioners seek to help local communities nourish people’s spiritual lives.
