YEAR JOINED MKLM: 1983
I have 30 years-experience in international development work in the areas of peacebuilding, human rights advocacy, popular education and community development. My primary roles have been as mentor/facilitator/advisor for NGOs and grassroots communities; country representative for Mennonite Central Committee in the Philippines; and manager/administrator of NGOs especially in the areas of institutional development and fund raising.
Most recently, I was the advisor/mentor to the East Timor Crisis Reflection Network formed in April 2006 and donor liaison with the Commission for Reception, Truth and Reconciliation in East Timor. While I was in the Philippines, I was a member of the Management Committee of the Mindanao Peacebuilding Institute from 2000-2002.
Prior to living in Southeast Asia, I practiced Family Law with a Legal Aid Society in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am from the US and was educated at the University of San Francisco.
