Personal Data
Judy graduated from St. Louis University School of Nursing in 1963. She is the mother of five children and grandmother of ten.
Judy was the Executive Director of the Voluntary Action Center in Fairfax County, Virginia (1979-1985). From 1985 to 2000 Judy served as Director of the national Volunteer Resources Department for the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) in Washington, DC. In preparation for serving in mission overseas, Judy went back to nursing and became certified as a childbirth educator, working at Inova Health Systems and Mother and Baby Matters. Originally from Arlington, VA, Judy was an active member of the St. James Parish.

MKLM Ministry
Judy served her first three and a half years as an MKLM missioner in Cambodia working as a team member of the Little Sprouts Ministry. Little Sprouts is a program that provide antiretroviral drugs to save the lives of HIV+ children. The program maintains an administration center with a medical clinic, as well as an outreach program for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission.

Judy returned to the United States in 2007 to join the MKLM home offices as MKLM Human Resources Manager. In her ministry, Judy advanced the MKLM mission by assisting in the needs of the missioners and employees. Specifically, Judy maintained basic HR functionality updating and maintaining policies and procedures, position descriptions, and accountability systems. In addition, Judy established ongoing education and professional development for staff.

Current Ministry
Judy moved back to Virginia in July of 2009. She is currently serving as President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in her parish at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Judy is a Friends Across Borders’ Guide for Cambodia.
