PERSONAL DATA:
Vicki was born in St. Louis, MO. She holds degrees in Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies. (BA from Webster University and MA from Saint Louis University). She also has a Certificate from a Personnel Management Program and another M.A. in Human Resources Management from Washington University.

Her professional life began as a high school and college Spanish teacher. She later moved into human resource management and recruitment in the corporate sector, with industry experience in banking, pharmaceuticals and marketing. Returning to academia and administration, she became the Associate Director of MBA career planning and placement with the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University. She also chaired her parish’s Social Concerns Commission and was part of a steering committee for INTERACT, St. Louis

MKLM WORK:
In 1998, Vicki realized a life-long dream and joined Maryknoll Lay Missioners. For four years, she worked with two youth programs in Nairobi, Kenya. She then worked for three years for Maryknoll-U.S. in human resources and as Director of Mission Services.

Vicki has guided several Friends Across Borders Immersion Trips to Kenya.

CURRENT WORK:
Vicki is currently Director of Social Ministry at St. Louis University, and serves on the parish council of College Church, the Board of Catholic Charities Community Services, and the Catholic Charities Midtown Center Advisory Board. Vicki is a member of the Maryknoll Lay Missioners Board of Directors.
